Doors

Doors are the logical representation of access points managed by your devices.

What are Doors?​

In BioSensei, a Door is an endpoint where access is granted or denied. A single multi-door controller can manage several Doors.

Opening Doors​

You can trigger a manual open command for any door:

  1. In the Doors view, find your target access point.
  2. Click Open Door.
  3. The command is sent via the cloud tunnel to the device instantly.

Door Alarms​

Monitoring door status is crucial for security. BioSensei tracks:

  • Forced Open: Alarm triggered when a door is opened without authorization.
  • Held Open: Alarm triggered when a door remains open longer than the configured timeout.
  • Panic Mode: Real-time notification of emergency events.
